"The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper."
-W.B. Yeats
I discovered the transformative power of travel after my first trip abroad to Egypt when I was 16. Driven by curiosity to see the world and an open heart to connect to the local community, I feel most inspired when immersed in foreign culture and language and cherish friendships made while traveling. Since then, I have explored over 30 countries with a particular interest in artisanal craftsmanship, local delicacies (that I can't pronounce), and untouched nature---the list of destinations keeps growing with a focus on adventure, wellness, and volunteering this year.
A southerner at heart hailing from Atlanta, I found my roots in New York City where I have called home for over 14 years.
Over the past 10 years, I have gained unique experience in the luxury travel industry. I have been lucky to be able to merge my passion for adventure with my hospitality-gene while developing a unique background in high-end client services, account management, creative integrated communication services, sales and marketing at luxury travel and hospitality brands such as Four Seasons to Indagare, a member-based online travel magazine and luxury boutique agency. I have a proven track record of nurturing key accounts, growing new business, increasing client retention and creating innovative engagement strategies. For the past five years, I oversaw marketing and brand communications at Hidden Doorways, a luxury travel representation company with global portfolio of unique luxury hotels and resorts, bespoke DMC's, private villas and islands and wellness collection. Currently, I am the Director of Recognition for The Circle, Global Travel Collection's recognition program that celebrates their top 10% producing travel advisors. I have a keen interest in creating community and innovative brand and engagement strategies.
With an entrepreneurial and creative spirit, I obtained a BS degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
